Pass Plus is a special course designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.

The course is designed to:

-          Build on your driving experience in a wider range of driving conditions and situations.

-          Help reduce the risk of being involved in a road accident.

-          Reduce the cost of car insurance by up to 30%.

The course should be taken within 12 months of passing your driving test.

 Pass Plus is made up of six practical modules which include:

-        Driving in town

-        Driving in all weathers

-        Driving on country roads

-        Driving at night

-        Driving on dual carriageways

-        Driving on motorways

The course is not a test, but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.
In exceptional circumstances, if a module cannot be done on the road, it will be covered in a theory session.
The Pass Plus assessment is £150 for a minimum of 6 hours.
Additional training is available at £25/hr if the required standards are not met.
